Localism is nothing to do with guys dropping in on each other and pinching their wave.....It all about sad simple minded locals who think they have a right to that spot over visiting surfers. I have surfed in Cornwall for 25+ years and yes it is getting worse but surfing is still growing as a sport and no matter what break you visit there will always be some twat in the water who thinks they're better than everyone else and have a god given right to ruin it for others. I've been to the North Shore and localism is mental but thats what you'd expect from a culture that has had it's roots in surfing for thousands of years......People who don't respect others will never earn that respect back ! Just enjoy what you've got while you're on the planet !

Yep, it was saturday, my mistake. Usually breaks like this with a big SW swell, gale force westerlies and a spring tide. Maybe twice a year if you're lucky. The swell hitting the berach was 15-20ft, Sennen was pushing 30ft that day. Awesome to watch.

I'm actually a stand up surfer but have respect for the local bodyboarders who surf it. It may not be a secret spot but it is certainly low key. By posting that photo you are only going to make it more busy next you surf it with your mates. You would have been better to crop the photo removing the distict coastline or reversing the image like the magazine 360 has done before to confuse people!

You can't go publishing photos like that with so much of the coastline in the back ground. You wouldn't do it to a secret spot near you so why do it somewhere else.
