Surf conditions at 7.45 a.m. on Saturday 2nd March 2013:
It's a milder morning again, a little overcast to start the day but calm and pleasant with some good surf again.
The tide is a little too high right now, a handful are already out on the Reef and maybe getting a little frustrated waiting for the set waves to break, while another is over in the middle having to scratch a bit onto the shore dump.
But give it an hour or two and we should be enjoying some decent two to three feet, peeling and hollow surf.
The wind is light, offshore (easterly, with maybe just a little north to it) and gentle, holding the waves until the last moment.
This swell is really setty, a long wait between sets but worthwhile and they're solid enough when they get here.
Yep, another fun day of surf lies ahead, enjoy!
We are having a final clear out of stock in readiness to take delivery of all that new stuff for the new season - not that far away suddenly (in fact we just had a couple of boxes of Xcel wetsuits arrive already!).
So, if you want a new board, we are clearing the last couple of Sol-Life boards out at £375 instead of £495! We also have just a couple of 7S Super Fish Sea Shepherd boards at £455, along with loads of other BIG BARGAAYNS!
Howzabout a new suit at 25%OFF?
Drop in on us this weekend (we're open 10 - 4) for that late season suit or early season board!
