About La Ocho

It's called Stop Eight, well, 'cause it's the eighth stop on the bus line from downtown San Juan. It's located in the Parque del Escambron, just east of Old San Juan. You'll see longboarders and families and stuff here, spread out over a big area, with pop up reef peaks everywhere -- there's also an island reef that sticks out making for some decent rolly right-handers that are partially protected from the trade winds. Bring your partner, the kids, dogs, a longboard and a frisbee, and you've got a fantastic Sunday afternoon.
