Do you want to work for the world's leading global surf forecaster? Are you a surfer with aspirations to move into the industry? To make surfing a part of your DNA? Or are you a tech maestro with an affinity for the water?

Magicseaweed is looking for a Product Lead to help evolve our web and native applications. As a member of the Product team, you will help our customers make decisions about their recreational life.

You will do that by focusing on five core product principles: customer centricity, outcome over output, iterative innovation and testing, data-driven decision-making, and failing well. As a Product Lead, you will leverage analytics to identify user problems and collaborate with a team of engineers and designers to test and build solutions.

What You’ll Do

*Come up with the product vision, strategy, and impact to goals across the company.

*Drive the squad strategy and own the roadmap, including identifying problems, hypothesis, and modelling impact to targets and goals.

*Create product requirements and wireframes/prototypes to communicate the product vision.

*Collaborate with Design and Engineering to translate requirements into an actionable sprint plan.

*Lead sprint planning, including prioritising stories, bugs, and technical debt.

*Use basic analytics to communicate progress against goals (MAU’s, conversion rate, churn rate) and write basic SQL queries to identify user behavior.

*Identify and setup A/B tests to track user behaviour and make informed product decisions.

*Lead stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment across departments.

*Proactively identify potential problems or conflicting priorities with other squads and resolve them effectively.

What We’re Looking For

*4+ years of experience as a product manager for web and native applications.

*Experience successfully launching products with big impact.

*Must be able to clearly articulate a point of view and support it with user data.

*Must be comfortable leading and participating in a good product debate.

*Excellent communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver presentations.

*Comfortable working with remote team members.

*Strong organisational and time management skills.

*Familiarity with A/B testing products (like Optimizely/Split etc.)

You May Also Have

*A passion for the ocean, beach, or another outdoor activity.

*An affinity for one of our brands and a strong opinion about how we could improve.

*A BA/BS degree and a good story about how you became a Product Manager.

*This position will be based out of Plymouth, United Kingdom. Remote applicants based in the United Kingdom will also be considered.
